MS Outlook offline

When using my MS Outlook remotely, Outlook remains offline. Manually entering
"send/receive" will send email only whilst receiving non-company (or
corporate) emails. Once the manual "send/receive" is completed, it
automatically resets of "offline."

I'm not sure what you mean. What kind of mail account(s) do you use?
How are you connecting remotely, and what are you connecting to?
