outlook won't start

I have been using Microsoft Outlook. I just hooked up with hi speed
internet, and now Outlook gives me the message that the OUTLLIB.DLL file is
linked to missing export MAPI32.DLL:239. Plus the message C:\Program
files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe A device attached to the system
is not functioning.

I looked this up on the internet and it tells me to use Outlook Express.
Well, I can, but I can't get all the messages and contacts, etc. from
Outlook now. I want to get back in to Outlook! Help!

Do you use Outlook 97? I found the following article
