In my corporate environment, I have 2 contact lists. 1 is on the Server the
other in my .PST on my C: drive.

When I add a new contact it is saved on the .PST Contact list. When I want
to resolve a name, it points to the Server contact list. Since I prefer to
have all email delivered to my .PST I want Outlook to look at MY LOCAL .PST
Contact list.

I tried to add another Contact list, but Outlook won't let me..

How can I point outlook to the local .PST Contact list?

Please email replies amg011 (REMOVE SPAM BLOCKER) @usa.net

Best regards, Mike

What version of Outlook and have you tried right clicking on the contact
folder, select properties, go to the outlook address book tab, and activate
it for use as an address book?

ps - if you need to get auto-resolution working, you need to add the new
book to the list of books that are searched. this dialog varies on location
depending on version of outlook.
