Outlook 2002 prompts me for my user name, domain name, and password
every time I start it up. It used to remember my used name and domain
name. I think some update or service pack update might have screwed
something up.

The only thing I can find in the setup is "Logon network security" It's
set to "Password Authentication" I tried the other options (Distributed
Password Authentication, None) and that seems to screw up Outlook to
where I can't log on.

I looked in the registry, but couldn't find anything there either.

I'm having a similar problem. On my outlook though, my user
name gets CHANGED! Instead of say, (e-mail address removed), it gets
switched to (e-mail address removed)/mail.joes.com I correct it and
after a little while its back to the wrong setting. And my
incoming server changes to 'localhost'.

I've checked virus' and spyware and still nothing. Any
ideas out there?

That's the fault of your antivirus or antispam software. Disable that app's
integration with mail and the problem will stop.
