Outlook won't hide, Office 2007

I can't get Outlook for Office 2007 to hide in the notification area.
It is selected to "Hide Always" in the Taskbar properties. Shouldn't this
selection do it?

Yes, but Windows cannot do this consistently for some icons though as it
seems to lose the handle for the icon every now and then and then displays
it still. That behavior has changed in Windows 7 and it will now really hide
it unless specified otherwise.
