Outlook will not send a scheduled email

I have an exchange 2003 server with SP1 and am running Outlook 2003. I would
like to write an email, schedule it not to be sent until a certain time and
then go on vacation. Unfortunately, the emails that I schedule are not sent
unless Outlook on my machine is running.

Is there a way to schedule an email that will be sent while my machine is
off and I am gone? I have tried running outlook not in cached mode and that
did not work. I cannot seem to put my finger on how to get this done.

You might check here for something that will help - though most of them
seem to be client-side: http://www.slipstick.com/addins/auto.htm
