I have a user running Outlook 2003. All e-mail goes through exchange. OS is
XP Pro SP2. All Office update are installed. This user scheduled several
e-mails to be sent several days in the future then went on vacation. During
vacation the users workstation was off and Outlook was not running. User did
however login and check their e-mail via the web access feature we use. The
scheduled e-mails were not sent when they were supposed to be. It seems that
they were not sent until the user returned from vacation and turned on their
workstation and started Outlook. Should their outlook have sent the messages
while they were gone via exchange. Or is the reason the messages were not
sent, because Outlook was not running. Is there a way, since we are using
exchange, to schedule e-mail to be sent on a specific date, and have them
sent on that date without the Outlook workstation running?
Thanks for any help that anyone can offer,
