Schedule a rule?

Hi,

I was wondering is there a way to schedule an Outlook rule to run? If not
natively then how about a free add-in. I am using Outlook 2003 and Exchange
server 2003.

Thanks,

Schedule to run a specific Outlook rule at the end of each month.

For example I have a rule that I run manually to move emails with a certain
subject line to a specific folder. I manualy kick off this rule once a month.
I can only run this on the exact end of the month. Because of this I can not
simply leave it turned "on".

So I was wondering if there is a way to script this (and therefore schedule
it through the Windows OS) or if there is a way in Outlook to schedule it.
Alternatively, I am willing to use a free add-in if one exists.

Thanks,

You can use AutoArchive for that.

OK then is there an alternative? I currently have Outlook installed on one of
the Exchange boxes (required for a CRM tool we use). Currently the rules work
but only if I kick it off manually.

Note that installing Outlook on an Exchange server is not supported in a
production environment and can cause the Exchange server to fail.

If you want to control and automate the archiving process in your
organization you should consider a server-side archiving solution.
