Outlook Will Hang on MSN Download

FIRST, my apologies for any weird posts from my username just before this
post.. My MSOffice keyboard went wacky and whenever I hit the S key it
closes out the email and send it. (I'm typing this in Word and will c/p to
avoid the problem.) Here is my complete issue.

I have an MSN email account. I use Outlook to download my MSN email. I've
accepted that I will have separate storage folders of Inbox, Delete etc.
But, my issue happens when I retrieving my MSN emails. If I attempt to open
the MSN Inbox before all MSN emails are downloaded, Outlook will freeze up
completely. I have to use Windows Task Manager to close Outlook and start
over. What might be causing the problem and what can I do to fix it?

have you waited several minutes for it to thaw before forcing it closed? if
so, and if it never comes back to life, start by deleting the *.srs file for
your profile.

Yes, but it stays frozen. I did delete the .srs file you referred to. Not
sure what I did, but hope it works. Thanks.

it's just the send and receive settings - outlook will make a new one with
default options on. If it gets corrupt it causes problems.
