WE have the MS Small Business Server that comes with outlook and a web site
that is used to access the exchange server with a outlook like interface. it
worked well for remote staff.
sine then we had a problem with our exchange server and had to reinstall,
now we can not get the exchange web site from outside the business. we can
get it ok from our local intranet but not with our internet domain name.

any ideas?

You ae probably referencing Outlook Web Access - as this is a function of
Exchange, you are probably better off posting in an Exchange news group -
microsoft.public.exchange.admin is a good place to start.

Have you rerun the Internet connection wizard?

Yes, I agree. Try the ICW. Sounds like a router issue to me if you
can access it internally. Do you have a router between your server
and its internet connection? Can you access any other website on that
box from the outside? If you can access another site on the same box,
your router or something else may no longer be configured for SSL
traffic (ports 443 + 444, I think), as I believe that is how OWA is
setup by default. Know your router...know your ports. The good thing
is that it still works internally. The external connection problem
should be pretty easy to track down. Good luck.

Hi Alan,

Is there a record for your FQDN created by your ISP?
Can you post the ipconfig/all from your server? Standard or Premium?
Does https://fqdn/owa work? If not, which exact errormessage?
