Outlook - Vista - AVG

Hi All, This issue probably sits better with AVG or Vista but I'm sure
someone can help. I hafve someone who has a new PC with Vista on it. They
have downloaded AVG v7.5. Everything works except their ability to send
receive emails. They have uninstalled AVG and their email now works fine.
I suspect there is a setting somewhere blocking emails etc but not sure
where. Can someone help please.

Uninstall AVG and reinstall it without the mail scanning feature. You don't
need it anyway.
