Outlook uninstalled

After all the years spent building computersI cannot believe this has just
happened to me, but it has, and I am hoping there is a recovery process.

I went to install Publisher 2003 from the Office 2003 CD, and in my haste I
ticked the Publisher box, and unticked Outlook, because i didn't want to
uninstall it. Well that was my intention, and is pretty well the norm for
most software. But not Microsoft as I just found out the bloody hard way!

Instead of just adding Publisher to my Office, it uninstalled Outlook and I
have basically lost 6,000 emails, and my address book.

Is there anyway to get my emails back? Please help, I am shattered.

kind regards

Uninstalling Outlook doesn't delete any Outlook data just like uninstalling
Word doesn't delete all your Word documents. Simply install Outlook again.

Thank you very much Roady, that was a huge help, and I sincerely thank you
for the manner in which you replied free from sarcasm, which seems the norm
in other forums. You are a credit to society, and again THANK YOU.

(And I am sorry, but I wrote this thank you to you, but it posted in another
thread instead, the Outlook PST one....sorry, can it be deleted?)
