Outlook Unable to Open after Defrag

Ran defrag this morning on my desktop. When I tried to
open MS Outlook, I get pop-up window stating "Cannot start
Microsoft Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window."
Any suggestions on how to remedy? This is first time I
have had this problem.
 
Try a new mail profile.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Had a similar problem with a friend yesterday. Before creating a new
profile. Try performing a system restore from a prior date. It worked like
a charm for him. Probably just got a corrupted .pst file.
