Outlook transfer

I just purchased a new computer with the MS Windows XP
operating system and would like to transfer my MS 2000
Outlook pst files from my old computer running MS Windows
98. I would appreciate any help in this task, as it has
completely confused me. Thank you.
 
Copy pst to cd, then to new hd. Ensure read only flag is off, before in OL
File/Open/Personal Folders browse to pst
If pst is copied to hd, prior to install of OL, the install procedure will
enable you to use the 'old' pst rather than create new.
