Outlook toolbar vanishes

My Outlook Toolbar just vanished the other day, and hasn't
come back even though I've re-installed Outlook 2000 SR-1
from CD. As a result I've lost my buttons for send &
receive, new message, view, help, and whatever else
appears above the existing messages and folders. Does
anyone know how to reinstall the Toolbar? Thanks and
happy holidays!

You can try resetting the toolbars through View | Toolbars | Customize, and
if that doesn't work, close Outlook and find and rename the outcmd.dat file.
The default toolbars should be recreated when you restart Outlook. If
you're using Windows 2000 or XP, you'll need to search within hidden and
system folders to find the outcmd.dat file.
