Outlook Today vanishes!

Hi... Outlook 2007 on XP Pro and/or Vista Ultimate.

When I start Outllok 2007, the Outlook Today comes up by default. My data
shows for a few seconds, then it just dissappears. The Outlook Today screen
still shows properly, it just doesn't display any data at all. Everything
else works and displays properly in Outlook. I have not been able to solve
this... any ideas?

did you try detect and repair or resetting the outlook today screen? (right
click on the outlook today folder and choose properties, then folder
homepage tab).

Thanks, Diane. I tried both with no success.

I ran Office Diagnostics. Everything looked fine.
I went to the homepage tab as you described below. I clicked "Restore
Defaults". This did not work either.

Is there something else that you could suggest trying? As I mentioned, the
data show momentarily, then dissappears. This is as if some additional file
loads & overwrites the data after is is displayed.

In addition, I should mention that I am using 2 computers... a Dell XPS
running XP Pro and a Motion LE1600 Tablet running Vista Ultimate (upgraded
from XP).

This problem first showed up on the Dell XPS. I copy the .pst file (using
MS SyncToy) at the end of each day to my tablet for use at home. At first
the issue only manifested itself on the Dell. The LE1600 Outlook Today
worked as it should even with the copied data file. After a while, though,
the same vanishing Outlook Today Screen issue happened on the LE1600 as
well.

Could the problem be in the data file?
