Outlook & syncro of SE-P900

Z

Zadig Galbaras

Hi!

I have this Sony Ericsson P900 and I have set it to synchronize with my
Outlook 2003
The problem is that Outlook asks me if another program would get permission
to access its file, and how many minutes I should allow this to happen.

This halts the whole idea of an automatic sync.

How can I permit the SE-P900 synchronization program to always access the
Outlook folders?

This depends on how the software is written for your Sony Ericsson. You
cannot control it with Outlook. Contact Sony to see if they have an update
available for their software.

Hi Robert.

It is Outlook that is asking me this. The "poorly" translated text, since I
have the Norwegian version of MS Office 2003, in the dialog box is:
A program is trying to get access to the e-mail addresses you have in
Outlook
Would you permit that?
If this is unexpected, it could be a virus and you should choose No.

Then there is a box to be ticked and then I can decide for how long the
program should get access to my e-mail addresses.
The title of the dialog box is "Microsoft Office Outlook"
