Outlook suggestion

Something that would be a helpful improvement would be to allow unique mail
accounts to have the option of defining how often each account is checked for
“new messages.†As a opposed to a general default option for all accounts.

For example; I have several personal accounts that I want Outlook to check
every 1-minute. I also have 3 accounts that are with individual client’s
domains. Because my Outlook is set to check for new messages every minute
this creates a sizable log file for each of these clients. As a result, they
ask me to change the frequency that I check for new messages to 10 mins,
which then limits the timeliness on my other, highly important accounts.

1) One minute is much too often - ignoring the problems it causes servers if
everyone checked mail that often, if outlook is busy downloading mail when
the next check time happens, it can lock up or cause duplicates.

2) what version? If 2002 or 2003, set up send and receive groups.

new groups.)
