Something that would be a helpful improvement would be to allow unique mail
accounts to have the option of defining how often each account is checked for
“new messages.†As a opposed to a general default option for all accounts.
For example; I have several personal accounts that I want Outlook to check
every 1-minute. I also have 3 accounts that are with individual client’s
domains. Because my Outlook is set to check for new messages every minute
this creates a sizable log file for each of these clients. As a result, they
ask me to change the frequency that I check for new messages to 10 mins,
which then limits the timeliness on my other, highly important accounts.
