Outlook suddenly cannot start

I have been using outlook for over a year suddenly it wont launch.
Error message.
Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience.
It shuts down.
error detail is:
AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 10.0.2627.1 ModName: msouplug.dll
ModVer: 2004.1.4.17 Offset: 00016e08

Hi Chris,
maybe you try this to solve your problem
please search your msouplug.dll and rename it to msouplug.old

Are you still using Norton Anti-Spam2004? If not;
Disable the Norton AntiSpam as an add-in in Tools-> Options-> tab Other->
button Advanced Options...-> button Add-In Manager/COM Addins.

If you are either reinstall NAS, check it for updates or contact Symantec
Support.
