Outlook stopped sending emails

i too have a similar problem as posted by Tammi on 2/15/04. I am unable to send messages in outlook through my SMTP account. It's driving me crazy and I have tried many, many things to correct it. Nothing is working, can anyone help us?

Error messages look like:
"Task pop.prontomail.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Unable to send the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 452 4.4.5 Insufficient disk space; try again later"

Task 'pop.prontomail.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Did you contact your ISP as suggested?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Jay asked:

Just for the fun of it, instead of having "'pop.prontomail.com" have you
tried 'pop3.prontomail.com ?
