outlook still pulling mail from server

I have an outlook pop set up to pull email from my work server. I have the
box checked to leave copy on server and delete after 10 days. Within about 3
minutes of the email arriving it is being deleted from my server. I completly
erased my account from outlook and it is still pulling email somehow. I
checked with my coworkers and noone else has this problem. All of their mail
is staying on the server like it should. Could outlook still have the server
settings stored on the computer somewhere even though I deleted the account?
I badly need to resolve this problem and can't contact my network
administrator.

Are you accessing that account via a PDA, or cell phone, as well? The
purpose for "leaving" messages on a POP3 server is normally to allow access
to the same email account from a different device. The second device
accessing the account must also be configured to "leave messages on the
server", else that device will issue the POP3 "Delete" command to the
server.

I do have it on my cell phone as well. But, I have since deleted it. There is
no option on the cell to "leave copy on server". I have always had it on my
cell and it worked fine. I have removed all pop accounts from outlook and
cell phone and my emails still disappear. I restored all settings on my work
server to default in case something there had changed. Still no luck. That's
why I thought maybe even though I deleted all accounts maybe somewhere on my
pc it is still pulling these emails.

Maybe someone else is using your account (i.e., they hacked into it).
Time to change the password.
