Outlook Signature

I'm helping a (long-distance) friend add a signature that includes a graphic
logo. When I create a new signature, I click on the Advanced Edit button and
it opens Word. My friends system opens Notepad. How can this be corrected?

Make sure he has Office's Word installed and it is the same version as
Outlook. You can't use Word as editor if it's a different version. If he
doesn't have the right version of Word, have him set up a text signature in
Outlook. Skip the graphics. If he does have Word, edit the graphics editor in
Word by using Tools, Options, Edit tab, select Word as graphics editor.
