Outlook Signature Advanced Edit

I have Outlook 2003 SP3. Recently, when using the Advanced edit feature for
Signatures it opens up Excel. The editor used to be Word. I did not change
any settings, all of the edit configurations in options are pointing to word.

Does anyone know why this happened, or more importantly how to change this
back to Word??

The Advanced Editor is your default HTML editor configured in Windows and
has no relation to Outlook.
Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab Programs
