Outlook Shutdown Problem

Whenever I shutdown my computer, the whole process freezes and tells me I
have to manually shutdown Outlook (I simply have to click "close" on the
error message). The didn't happen until I started using Outlook in earnes
about a month and a half ago. Any ideas how to fix this?

Reinstall Outlook Express. Search for msoe50.inf(The default location is C:\Windows\Inf folder) Right click the Msoe50.inf file, and
click Install. Insert XP CD when prompted, Browse to the I386 folder, click Open, then OK.

Outlook from Office has an item in Add/Remove. The 'Change' button gives the option to "Detect and Repair"
