Outlook showing New Email

stats: I have several email "rules" which deliver email to specific folders
in Outlook. Some folders are 3 levels deep and not viewable from the "Inbox"
or "Root" of FileView.

problem: When I receive an email which is destined for a "non-root" folder
Outlook does not expand the view; unless I manually expand the folder I am
not made aware that the communication has arrived.

question: Is there a setting or reghack that will allow Outlook to expand
folders when a new email arrives when it is located below the first level of
folders.

thx

This is true. However, if you have Outlook 2003 (you don't state your
version), you can use the Unread Mail search folder and it won't matter
where the messages wind up.

Not that I'm aware.
