Outlook should let me hide deleted messages.

I would like outlook to hide the deleted messages instead of putting a line
through them. Either that or give me the ability to have the system
automatically purge deleted messages.

If you use IMAP, this is standard behavior. Just purge them....

And in the view menu you can chose to hide messages marked for deletion.
