Deleting Emails

When I delete a message in Outlook 2007 I do not get a Strike through text in
the Inbox it just disappears. However, when I send/receive the message comes
back. Since I do not get the strike through text I cannot purge the items
from my inbox. Is there a setting I can change to delete the message for
good? The Hide deleted messages is not checked.

What type of account have you defined?

The strikethough and purge is only used for IMAP accounts and one of the
views used on imap accts will hide messages marked for deletion.

so... what type of account did you create?

I do not have the "Hide messages marked for deletion" checked. This is an
IMAP account and something the strikethough text appears and most of the time
it does not. When the strikethough text appears and can purge the inbox.

The strikethough and purge is only used for IMAP accounts and one of the
views used on imap accts will hide messages marked for deletion.

so... what type of account did you create?
