Outlook says sending two messages when I'm only sending one.

When I send emails from Outlook, it always says that I am sending one more
message than the number I am actually sending. I'll send one message and the
progress information will say I'm sending two. If I'm sending two it says
three. What gives?

Hi Mary, thanks, but I'm not sure where to check for an unsent Read Receipt.
I can't find anything in my Outbox.

Outlook version? Operating system?

I also have this problem. I did run the MDBVU32.exe file and the message was
in the out box not a read receipt. After I ran it I had reconfigure much of
my email account information for all emails on my system. How do you delete
the stuck message in the MDBVU32.exe message column for the out box.

Outlook 2007. Windows Vista Business.

Could be a problem with that combination that causes Outlook to show that
it's sending as many extra messages and you have extra accounts. Do you
have more than one account defined?

Yep, I've got two accounts, although only one is the default sending
account.

Then OL 2007 will have a habit of showing that you have two messages sending
when you only have one. If you had three accounts, it would show three
messages sending. I don't know when this will be fixed.

Strange habit. Thanks.
