Outlook saving "sent" emails

Is there a way to change outlook so that it will not keep a copy of sent
messages in the sent folder?

If there is, can this apply in outlook web as well?

Tools - Options - E-mail Options - uncheck Save copies of messages in Sent
Items folder.

The setting you make in Outlook is client specific. OWA should have its
own setting in Options. Not sure where.

I just looked in OWA 2003 and that option doesn't seem to be available.

I'll be. Not in 2007 either. I mean, I get that it wasn't designed to be
a full feature for feature repalcement for Outlook, but, that's just decidedly
random of a thing not to be there.
