outlook runs slowly

I loaded my address book from blackberry into a brand new computer. Outlook
runs slow slowly it is barely useable.

correct; an M1210 with Dell MediaDirect.....

Other reports in this newsgroup indicate that MediaDirect is the culprit.

That is right.

Uninstall MediaDirect.

I did it and it worked, beleve it or not!!
