Outlook Rules

I am working with a user that has just been upgraded to XP \ 2003.

He has noted that in Outlook 2000, when working with rules, that any new
Mail Item that entered his INBOX and was automatically moved to his Parent
PST folder, would be marked in bold, as a new item appearing in the parent
folder.

However, in Outlook 2003, it appears this does not seem to be the case.
Sub-Folders will show new mail items, but parent folders do not.

Are we missing something here? I've looked into this, and this appears to be
the case.

Not that I recall but you can use the Unread Items Search Folder for that as
well.
