Outlook -Restart required to connect to Exchange

For the last week, whenever I try to open my outlook 2007 on a wireless
network it does not complete the connection to to Exchange server. I type in
my password and "Trying to Connect to Exchange Server" shows in the lower
right of the screen. If I close Outlook and immediately restart it, I
reenter my password and it connects almost instantly.

This is extremely annoying. I should only have to open Outlook and type my
password once! Any suggestions as to what I should look at to fix this
problem.

Are you in the same network as the exchange server or are you trying to
connect to it over the internet? Are you using VPN or Outlook Anywhere?
