Hi everyone,
Sometimes, when we attach say 3-4 or more files (.doc, .pdf, and .zip) to an
email, one of the .pdf or .zip files is replaced with the particular .doc
file we have attached. So we end up having the word document twice and none
the file it replaced.
At the time of editing the email, attachments appear normal, exactly as they
are meant to be and we are not aware this conversion took place. But if you
send the email the receipient says that a certain .doc file appears twice.
Then you look at your Sent folder and you see that the word file does indeed
appear twice.
I figured that at the time of sending files must be mistakenly encoded or
something like this?
My company uses Outlook XP (as part of Office XP) and MS Exchange Server
2000.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Also how do we stop it? It
happens kinda often and randomly.
Thank you,
George
