outlook repeats sending large messages

Have a problem where outlook keeps re-sending messages with attachments over
5mb. Connection is high speed and intervals between resends are about 10
minutes. Seems to repeat doing this about 7 times then stops. Anyone got any
idea how to stop it doing this

Make sure you are not scanning outgoing mail with an antivirus scanner and
lenghthen your server timeout value on the Advanced tab of the account
properties.

And also ensure your ISP allows email of the size you are trying to send.

This is not the issue......my outlook does the same. My ISP allows up to 20
mb e-mails but any attachment over 1mb has been sent multiple times. The
e-mail goes to the outbox where is seems to syc over and over. I sent a test
to someone who stated they received over 30 e-mails and my "sent" folder did
not indicate that it had gone once.

So have you done what's been suggested already?
