With uninstalling OE out of the picture, do you know why OE keeps
presenting itself as the default mail program when the options tell it
not to?
I would have considered this user error, but after reading several
posts here and on tek-tips, it seems to common to be.
What can I have the user try to keep OE sitting quietly - and allow
him to use Outlook only?

As I read from Adam, he stated that "...Outlook requires OE". So actually, I
was hoping for a clarification from him, therefore I posed it as a question
