Outlook removes attachments and pictures that I forward?

Many times when I forward a message that has pictures in it or an attached
file, there can be several problems for the recipiants:
1. the pictures may be removed
2. it may come as winmail.dat file
3. Attachments are often removed (even PDFs)

Are you forwarding to non-Outlook users and are you forwarding using
Outlook's default mail format of Rich text?
