Outlook Remote

This morning like a fool I downloaded an update for MS XP
professional. This must be some type of firewall. Now
when I can no longer reply to a message. When I hit the
reply button I get a beep and the message disappears.
Something is blocking reply messages. I use MS Web access
to access my office email remotely. Does anyone have an
answer to this problem?

Sorry this is the MS Access (the database program) newsgroup. Try a
newsgroup devoted to the program you are using (Outlook or Outlook Express).
You should find people better able to address your problem there than here.

As I recall the MS XP firewall only blocks incoming not outgoing so I
doubt if it is that. Rather I suspect there was some sort of change to the
security in Outlook or Outlook Express. Have you tried switching to plain
text if you are not already using it?
