I have configured my office email account first tiem and cliecked on
"Send/Receive" buttom. I expected all the emails will be downloaded to my
machine and also THE ORIGINAL EMAIL will be available on the server. But all
the emails on the server were deleted and I don't see any email on server
(especially in IINBOX). Is there any setting we can chnage to NOT to delete
mails from server when we download the emails ?

tools -> email accounts -> view or change existing accounts
select the account, click change -> more settings -> advanced -> leave a
copy of the message on the server

tools > email accounts > advanced > leave a copy on the server

Just remember that most ISPs only give say 10Mb and leaving on the server may cause an
mail box full message to be received by senders.

Thank you webguru and seth. I am using outllok2002 and went to "tools ->
email accounts -> view or change existing accounts
select the account, click change -> more settings -> advanced ->" bu there I
DIDN'T find an option to select for "leave a
copy of the message on the server" ?

Any guess ?

Appreciate your detailed repose.

What exactly do you see on that tab? What type of account are you using?
