Outlook PST Sharing

Is it possible to share an Outlook 2003 PST file across a 2 machine network?

For example, I want to keep the PST file on my main desktop, but have access
to it and use it while my wife does the same from the wirelss connected
Laptop.

Will the PST file<allow this,<and will it all be up to date whenever I
access it from either machine?

No, you can not share psts. You'll need to use a 3rd party utility.
