outlook.pst problem!!!

Suddenly, after using outlook 2000 for 3 yeras on this
computer, I got a message today telling me that my
outlook.pst file could not be accessed. Access is denied.
Outlook can't download my mail and I'm going crazy! What
does this mean, and is there a fix (in layperson's
terms...please). Thanks
 
Sorry I can't be of any direct help, but maybe knowing that this is the
MS Access (the database program) newsgroup. Try annexcafe.general.user2user
newsgroup or an Outlook newsgroup.
