Outlook "pst" file (PC) to ANYTHING (Mac)?

Have an old MS Outlook .pst file (60 MB). I'd like to be able to access these
old e-mail messages in any application on my Mac.

I need a way to convert this on the Mac, since I no longer own a PC.

Outlook Express won't recognize this file; it uses a different mail file
system from MS Outlook.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

You will need to wait until the end of the year when Microsoft will make
available a conversion tool for .pst files. Currently, only Outlook can
parse a .pst file.

will be deleted without reading.

Any preview on what this tool's purpose(s) will be?

I don't know how many of these tools MS will be creating, but the one the
author was referring to is for users switching between MS Entourage
(PIM/Exchange/email client that comes with Office:mac, 2001 through 2004)
and MS Outlook for Windows (either direction).

I believe there is a beta available now but I haven't looked for it.

For more information on Entourage, and a link to the beta for the conversion
tool, see this:

Firstly, I would like to know whether this tool will work with .pst files
from Outlook for Windows. Secondly, are they offering this wider support for
Exchange through the MAPI interface, or still through WebDAV?

Thanks,

For more information on Entourage, and a link to the beta for the conversion
tool, see this:

The beta tool web page says:
"We are currently hosting a public beta program intended for IT managers who
are willing to help us test the .PST Import Tool."

Not being an IT manager, I'm not surprised that I haven't heard back from
them.

Why doesn't MS release this util as a public beta, as they do with all their
other applications? :)
