Hi,
I am using Outlook 2000 on Windows XP Professional
Dell notebook. Recently, I have problems with
sending/receiving mails thru outlook. I have tried to
backup/copy the outlook pst file to another folder. It
prompt me an error "Cannot copy outlookata error (cyclic
redundancy check). I have tried to use the Inbox repair
tool ver 5.1.2600.1106., it again prompt me another
error "An expected error prevented access to this file:
Use scandisk to check the disk for errors, then try using
the inbox repair tool again". I have confirmed that the
outlook pst file is corrupted as I have renamed the file
and use a new outloot pst without any problem. As I have a
lot of mails and contacts on the old outlook pst folder,
how can I recover my old outlook pst file which is about
600MBytes. Is there a scandisk utility from Windows XP
professional? Any idea how can I recover my old outlook
pst?
Thanks & regards,
Chia
