Outlook preview pane

I feel terribly stupid asking this, but somehow I have
managed to close the preview pane on Outlook 2002's
inbox. All I have is a list of the inbox's contents and
cannot seem to find anything in the help files which
tells me how to reactivate the inbox preview pane.
Please tell me where to look to do this

The Preview Pane option should be on the View menu.
