Outlook Password Not Reatined

G

Guest

I get prompted for the account password every time I open Outlook or press
Send/Receive

Outlook 2003 is configured for one POP email account.

I've tried every recommendation listed in this article.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290684/en-us

The Registry didn't even have the Protected Storage .. Key inistially. I
created it manually and set the permissions without any success.

I uninstalled/reinstalled Office with all service packs without any success.

Any suggestions by anyone who's had similar problems.

Thanks

What add-ins do you have installed? If you have a virus scanner that
integrates with Outlook disable this integration and try again.

No, that didn't help either.
