Outlook not syncing

I wonder if anyone has seen this problem before...

Outlook suddenly does not want to refresh with new emails
from our exchange server. It sounds silly, so let me give
an example...

I sit here at work, working away as one does, and dont
receive any emails. I switch to outlook, empty... no new
emails. So I change focus to a new folder, or go to open
an email and all of a sudden, wham! loads of emails
suddenly appear!!!

These emails have been sent throughout the day but
Outlook it seems is not syncing with exchange until I
change focus.

This has been reported and answered numerous times in this newsgroup. The
main cause is a firewall blocking UDP packets that Exchange uses to inform
Outlook there are new messages. See the following articles
