outlook not sending/receiving at startup

hello,
When I open Outlook (2003), it does not automatically send
and receive email. I have to manually
enter "Send/Receive". Please help... I've tried everything.
Thank you.
 
You need to set an automatic polling interval in Send/Receive groups.
