Outlook not sending emails

Hi there, i'm having problems with outlook, for some reason i can no longer
send emails and receive the following error message:

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by
the server. The rejected e-mail address was ******@hotmail.com'. Subject
'just a test', Account: 'pop.freeserve.net', Server: 'smtp.freeserve.net',
Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 Administrative prohibition', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I can still recieve emails for this account and have no problems connecting
to the internet.
This has only started happening since i changed to ADSL and consequently
updated windows and AVG antivirus

any help would be great

You may have to log into the smtp server using your login and pass to
send mail if you are using a different isp than freeserve.

ah, that must be why then! Are there any decent free email clients that i can
use through outlook?as i prefer using it rather than just webmail.
my new supplier is PIPEX and it looks like it is just web based.

I went to Pipex's website and since they offer 12 POP3 email accounts as
part of the ADSL/dialup package (I assume that is what you've got),
they must have POP3/smtp mail servers. Unfortunately, their site sucks
big time as far as getting simple information such as their POP3/smtp
servers and setting up your email. I suggest you give their tech
support people a call and ask them how to set up Outlook to get your
mail.
