We recently upgraded a few computers from Windows 2000 to Windows XP. now,
the users are complaining that their e-mail in Outlook 2000 is staying in the
Outbox and not being delivered until they click on the Outbox.
Does anyone have any idea why upgrading the operating system would have any
effect on Outlook?
Thanks.

If you just hit the send button it holds the e-mail until you press the send
and receive. You may want to try to reset your web settings.

If you are connecting to Exchange, then the answer will be different.
Check firewall settings on XP.
