EMAILS DELIVERED BUT STAY IN OUTBOX

A colleague's Outlook 2003 has developed a problem whereby, on sending
emails, the messages ARE delivered to their destination but they remain in
the Outbox rather than moving into Sent. And they can't be moved or copied
from Outbox - only deleted.

Any ideas?

I am having a similar problem with brand new Office Small Business 2007, but
as far as I can tell, the messages are NOT delivered to their destination and
are stuck in the outbox - can't be moved, deleted or copied.

The usual cause of this is scanning messages with an antivirus program.
Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without the mail scanning feature.
You will be just as safe.
