Outlook not connecting via exchange (OWA works)

I have recently upgraded all of my users to Outlook 2003 and setup exchange
functionality to their outlook clients. I have one user that I am having
issues with:

I host my exchange box offsite, so in essence all of my users are remote -
but this user is a satellite users to my corporate network as well.

I initially setup his laptop here on my corporate network and it worked
fine. I shipped it to his remote location and now he can not connect to the
exchange server at all through outlook. He can ping it fine and access OWA,
but can not connect through outlook. I have had him VPN into my network here
and he still can't connect. I thought it may have been a dns issue, but
after purging it, he still can't connect.

I am stumped.

Also as a side note: I was able to telnet into the box and access the machine
via OE from the laptop in question. Seems to definetly be an Outlook
problem, just don't no what to do to fix it.
